Information Exela Pharma Sciences Gathers and Tracks
Exela Pharma Sciences gathers two types of information about website visitors:
Information website visitors provide by optional, voluntary submissions. Examples of these voluntary submissions are: submissions to apply for employment, receive our electronic newsletters, to receive electronic product updates, forwarding of emails, and from participation in forms.
Information Exela Pharma Sciences gathers through tracking information derived by gathering click through information of page views throughout our website and microsites. This information allows us to provide more relevant content to readers’ interests and needs, and to continuously improve user web experience. Under no circumstances does Exela Pharma Sciences divulge any information about an individual user to another company or individual.

1. Electronic Product Updates, Alerts, Online Promotions
Exela Pharma Sciences offers a free electronic updates, alerts, and online promotions to website visitors. Exela Pharma Sciences gathers the email addresses of website visitors who voluntarily subscribe. Website visitors may remove themselves from this mailing list by following the link provided in every email linking website visitors to the email preference center. Website visitors also have the option to subscribe to other email programs at the time of registration with Exela Pharma Sciences Direct.
2. Pharmacovigilance data: The processing of this data may include interacting with data subjects (via phone, fax or electronically) on queries that may be related to Medical Information (MI), an Adverse Event (AE) or Product Complaint (PC) or in connection with other Client Services from time to time. The information processed may include:
§ MIs: may include a mixture of information set out below.
§ AEs: date of report, reporter name, reporter type (physician, pharmacist, nurse, consumer, etc.), patient identifier, patient gender, patient age, patient weight/height, demographic information (address, city, country/state, phone number), medical history, sexual orientation, race, biometric and genetic data, drug (dose, frequency, history, action taken following event), event description/outcome, and concomitant medications; and
§ PCs: date of report, nature of complaint, lot number, expiration date, product retrieval information, and product replacement or reimbursement requests.
§ Other: prescription renewal information, reminders to take medication, etc.
Usage tracking
Exela Pharma Sciences tracks user traffic patterns throughout the Exela Pharma Sciences website and all of our microsites. Exela Pharma Sciences may analyze overall usage statistics according to a user’s domain name, browser type, and MIME type by reading this information from the browser string (information contained in every website visitor’s browser).
Exela Pharma Sciences sometimes tracks and stores the search terms website visitors enter in our Search function via our online ordering portal, but this tracking is never associated with individual website visitors. We use tracking information to determine which areas of our sites website visitors like and don’t like based on traffic to those areas. We do not track what individual website visitors read, but rather how well each page performs overall. This helps us continuously make improvements for you.
Cookies
Exela Pharma Sciences may place a text file called a “cookie” in the browser files of your computer. The cookie itself does not contain personal information although it will enable us to relate your use of this site to information that you have specifically and knowingly provided. Each cookie has a determined expiration date and will automatically remove itself from the browser files. The only personal information a cookie contains is the information you provide voluntarily. Exela Pharma Sciences uses cookies to track website users (as described above) and as a functionality to improve the shopping experience at Exela Pharma Sciences Direct. Use of Information
Exela Pharma Sciences uses any information voluntarily given by our website visitors to enhance their experience when visiting Exela Pharma Sciences’ website and microsites, whether to provide interactive or personalized elements on the website and microsites, or to better prepare future content based on the interests of our website visitors.

Exela Pharma Sciences uses the above-described information to tailor our content to suit your needs. We will not share information about individual website visitors with any another company or individual, except to comply with applicable law or valid legal process or to protect the personal safety of our website visitors or the public and/or to fulfill or meet the reason for which the information is provided (e.g., to perform a background check in order to process your application for employment or to process pharmacovigilance related information that you have submitted).
Promotions and Customer Engagement
Exela Pharma Sciences does not disclose your information with outside companies for their promotional use, does not sell or rent mailing lists to other companies or individuals, and protects the privacy of website visitors viewing products or services at the Exela Pharma Sciences website.
Exela Pharma Sciences will contact its valued customers and audience with important news about product updates, new products and services, and other promotional offers. You will automatically receive our mailings with promotions related to previous purchases you have made or from making contact with us by phone, visiting our booth at a tradeshow, contact with one of our sales representatives, submittal of an online form, or other related forms of contact. Email Preferences and Opting Out
You may opt-out or our programs by directly unsubscribing or by changing your email preferences at any time. Your email preferences include subscribing to email programs, unsubscribing to specific programs, globally unsubscribing to all programs, and snoozing email subscriptions. By updating your preferences you are able to remain subscribed to continue receiving special internet promotions, product updates, offers, and press releases from time-to-time.
If you choose to globally unsubscribe to Exela Pharma Sciences’ email program(s), we will no longer contact you with product updates, new products and services or press releases according to your preferences. Once unsubscribed, the process of removing the email address from our lists takes no more than 10 days. We may continue contacting you about critical product notices that could affect the ability to use our products or services, if you contact us requesting information, and with information regarding a recent order.
Children
Consistent with the Federal Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA), we will never knowingly request personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13 without requesting parental consent.

CCPA Policy
This PRIVACY NOTICE FOR CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS (“CCPA Notice”) supplements the information contained in the Privacy Policy of Exela Pharma Sciences, LLC (“Exela” or “we”) and applies solely to “consumers” as that term is defined in the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (“CCPA”).
According to the CCPA, a “consumer” is a natural person who is a California resident, as defined in Section 17014 of Title 18 of the California Code of Regulations, as that section read on September 1, 2017, however identified, including by any unique identifier. If you are not a California resident, this CCPA Notice does not apply to you. In addition, Exela Website visitors and users may also be consumers. The “Exela Website” is a website that is owned by Exela and is assigned “exelapharma.com” as the internet domain name. This CCPA Notice does not apply to any other website that you may visit using links provided on the Exela Website.
We adopt this CCPA Notice to comply with the CCPA and other California privacy laws. A link to the CCPA is provided for your convenience. Any terms defined in the CCPA, regardless of differences in capitalization, have the same meaning when used in this CCPA Notice. To the extent that there is a conflict between this CCPA Notice and Exela’s Privacy Policy, this CCPA Notice shall control for consumers.
Information We Collect
We collect information that identifies, relates to, describes, references, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular consumer or household (“personal information” as defined in the CCPA). Category C – Protected classification characteristics under California or federal law
Examples: Age, ethnicity, citizenship, religion or creed, marital status, physical illness, mental illness or disabilities, gender, veteran status.
Category D – Internet or other similar network activity
Examples: Access history and information on your interaction with the Exela Website.
Category E – Professional or employment-related information
Examples: Occupation, employer information.
Category F – Non-public education information (per the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (20 U.S.C. Section 1232g, 34 C.F.R. Part 99))
Examples: Education level, school attended.
Category G – Medical information
Examples: Health and medication information provided by you or your doctor in connection with pharmacovigilance (e.g, adverse events and product complaints).
We obtain the categories of personal information listed above from: consumers (including you), third parties, service providers, and/or affiliates.
Use of Personal Information
We may use or disclose the personal information we collect for one or more of the following business purposes:
To fulfill or meet the reason for which the information is provided. For example, process your application for employment.
To comply with pharmacovigilance and adverse event reporting requirements
To improve our Services to you.
For testing, research, analysis and/or product development.
As necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property or safety of us, our clients or others.
To respond to law enforcement requests and as required by applicable law, court order, or governmental regulations.
As described to you when collecting your personal information or as otherwise set forth in the CCPA.
To evaluate or conduct a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of our assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which personal information held by us is among the assets transferred.

Deletion Request Rights

Enable solely internal uses that are reasonably aligned with consumer expectations based on your relationship with us.
Comply with a legal obligation.
Make other internal and lawful uses of that information that are compatible with the context in which you provided it.
Exercising Access, Data Portability, and Deletion Rights
To exercise the access, data portability, and deletion rights described above, please submit a verifiable consumer request to us by email at privacy@exela.us. You may also submit your request by telephone by calling: (888) 451-4321. In addition, a CCPA – Data Request Form is also provided on the Exela Website for you to exercise these rights.
Only you or a person registered with the California Secretary of State that you authorize to act on your behalf, may make a verifiable consumer request related to your personal information. You may also make a verifiable consumer request on behalf of your minor child.
You may only make a verifiable consumer request for access or data portability twice within a 12-month period. The verifiable consumer request must:
Provide sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we collected personal information or an authorized representative.
Describe your request with sufficient detail that allows us to properly understand, evaluate, and respond to it.
We cannot respond to your request or provide you with personal information if we cannot verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm the personal information relates to you. Making a verifiable consumer request does not require you to create an account with us. We will only use personal information provided in a verifiable consumer request to verify the requestor’s identity or authority to make the request.
Response Timing and Format
We endeavor to respond to a verifiable consumer request within 45 days of its receipt. If we require more time (up to 90 days), we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing. If you have an account with us, we will deliver our written response to the registered email associated with the account. If you do not have an account with us, we will deliver our written response by mail or electronically, at your option. Any disclosures we provide will only cover the 12-month period preceding the verifiable consumer request’s receipt. The response We provide will also explain the reasons we cannot comply with a request, if applicable. For data portability requests, we will select a format to provide your personal information that is readily useable and should allow you to transmit the information from one entity to another entity without hindrance.
We do not charge a fee to process or respond to your verifiable consumer request unless it is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded. If we determine that the request warrants a fee, we will tell you why we made that decision and provide you with a cost estimate before completing your request.
Non-Discrimination
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights.
Changes to Our Privacy Notice
We reserve the right to amend this CCPA Notice at our discretion and at any time. The date this CCPA Notice was last updated is identified at the bottom of this page. You are responsible for periodically visiting the Exela Website and reviewing this CCPA Notice to check for any changes.
